Our Mission

FBCSAR supports the volunteers of Black Canyon Search and Rescue with funding for equipment, training, and supplies to provide safety, rescue, and education to visitors of the Park.

Our Team

Our rescue team comprises a diverse group of dedicated individuals, each bringing unique skills and backgrounds. Our team includes retired teachers, roofers, window washers, nurses, contractors, ski patrollers, fishing and climbing guides, architects, flooring contractors, professional climbers, former national park rangers, firefighters, college students, rope rescue trainers, and experienced climbers familiar with the challenges of the Black Canyon. Together, we bring a wealth of experience and expertise to our mission of providing effective search and rescue services.
